Growing marketing agency welcomes creative director
Essex-based creative agency Focus Integrated Marketing Communications has bolstered its management team with the strategic appointment of a Creative Director. Jason Riley has joined the company to lead a team of six offline and online design specialists and provide creative direction for all client accounts.
Jason has a proven track record of helping brands to bridge the gap between business strategy and visually-engaging design. His design principles and artistic flair have proven successful across a variety of business sectors, with Jason working with various brands to help position them within their market and deliver consistent brand messages. With a strong background in branding, graphic arts and corporate design, Jason previously co-lead a brand refresh for the world’s third largest law firm – Allen & Overy LLP.
Jason Riley, Creative Director at Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, said: “I am delighted to join the agency and aim to bring a fresh approach to our creative output. My aim is to gain the edge over our competitors and firmly establish Focus Integrated Marketing Communications as the leading creative agency in the region.
“I am relishing the challenge of inspiring a new group of colleagues, nurturing their potential and building an all-star team which is recognised for its high standards. I will also be working closely with our clients to continually improve our creative product and consistently deliver high-quality, successful and innovative marketing campaigns.”
James Mercer, Managing Director at Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, believes Jason’s appointment is fundamental to securing the ongoing success of the agency, which lists e2v, Camelot Group, Taylor Wimpey, Greene King, Christie + Co and the Co-operative amongst its clients.
James Mercer said: “So far, 2011 has been an exciting year for us and our business development strategy is beginning to take shape. The addition of Jason to the team strengthens our creative credentials and ensures all clients will continue to receive expert consultancy and delivery on all aspects of their branding and marketing communications.”
Despite a challenging economy influenced by a prolonged recession, Focus Integrated Marketing Communications has found itself consistently in demand, particularly with companies looking for guidance with social media, mobile applications and augmented reality, as well as more traditional marketing channels such as advertising, corporate literature and websites.
This has been reflected by 12 new faces settling in at the company since the start of the year. James added: “The enthusiasm and experience our new employees have brought to the business is a tremendous asset and I am excited at the prospect of witnessing this team work together to achieve great results.”
