Major Adwords API v13 Sunset

Although it may seem slightly premature, Google has reminded all of us who use the Google Adwords API that on April 22nd there will be a phasing out of many v13 features and that migration to the latest API version is recommended.

As of April 22nd the following v13 services will no longer be available:

  • Campaign Service
  • Ad Group Service
  • Criterion Service
  • Ad Service
  • Info Service
  • Keyword Tool Service
  • Site Suggestion Service

What does this mean to most of our clients?

Well, not a lot, as if you utilise the current API then chances are that we will rather kindly ensure that everything migrates smoothly for you. Should you want to know more about the API v13 Sunset or migrating to v200909 then please see Google’s latest blog post on Google Adwords.
