Digital marketing expert advises business leaders on social media
Directors and managers from leading local businesses met last week to discuss the economic issues facing the region and hear advice from a panel of expert speakers. The Hays Suffolk Leadership and Networking Forum, which took place at Ipswich Town Football Club, was opened by inspirational Gold medal Paralympian Danny Crates.
The speakers, who discussed topics including delivering cash for business and the relevance of social media in achieving business success, included Dan Betts, Director of Digital at Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, Philip King, Chief Executive of the Institute of Credit Management, and Craig Douglas, Assurance Director at Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Dan specialises in digital marketing and his expertise includes PPC, SEO, social media and web analytics. During his presentation he discussed strategy, crowdsourcing techniques and what the future may hold for social media.
Dan Betts, Director of Digital at Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, said: “I was delighted to be invited to the Hays Suffolk Leadership Forum to discuss the relevance of social media to business.
“Some organisations are unsure of how to make social media work for them, particularly when they do not fully understand the techniques or what key performance indicators to measure.
“However, social media provides the perfect platform to be truly creative and engage with your stakeholders in ways which previously were more difficult. For this reason, I believe it is crucial for all organisations to include social media in their wider marketing strategies.”
Companies wishing to speak with Dan can do so by booking a free consultancy session which covers web analytics, social media, search engine optimisation and pay per click campaigns. To register your interest email dan@focusintegrated.co.uk or call 01376 574800.
