New website deals a winning hand for Genting Casinos

Casino operator Genting Casinos UK has witnessed double-digit growth in visitors to its website since being relaunched. Supported by a search engine optimisation strategy, there has been an increase in visits of 40% to gentingcasinos.co.uk compared to the same period last year. Improved landing pages and on-page content have helped to boost the average time each visitor spends on the website by 14% and raise the average number of pages viewed per visit by 13%.

‘Tache for cash raises £365 for charity

Six employees from Focus Integrated Marketing Communications spent the 30 days of November cultivating moustache masterpieces to raise awareness of prostate and testicular cancer. In addition to being walking, talking advertisements for men’s health, the ‘Focus Integrated Mo Bros’ raised £365 for charity through donations from colleagues, friends and family.

Three work experience students from schools and colleges in Essex and Suffolk have designed their own fashion ‘app’ aimed at image conscious female teenagers. After conducting market research using social media channels including Facebook and Twitter, the trio found a gap in the market for a fashion styling ‘app’ which suggests outfits based on the individual body statistics, age, budget and favourite high street shops of consumers.

Pedal power raises £4,000 for charity

10 weeks in training, a 60 mile bike ride and a target to raise thousands of pounds for charity. That was the challenge undertaken by a cyclist from Essex aiming to help a young girl suffering from cystic fibrosis. On Sunday 7th August, Ben Tucker, Account Director at Feering-based Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, pulled on his helmet, padded shorts and SPDs and set off from Glemham Hall near Woodbridge, Suffolk to begin the challenge of cycling 60 miles around the tranquil Suffolk countryside.

An Essex-based creative communications agency has educated 50 business leaders from East Anglia, London and beyond on social media strategy. The seminar, which was hosted on Friday 18th March by Focus Integrated Marketing Communications, also discovered that despite 82% of businesses having a social media presence, 64% do not have a social media strategy in place.
