Job context

The role of the Digital Account Executive is to act as the supporting interface between the client and company on assigned accounts to ascertain the clients’ needs and help to ensure their projects are delivered within set timescales and to budget. To develop a one to one relationship with the clients and provide client support and service.

Job responsibilities

  • Liaise with the internal teams in order to produce the projects for the client which meet the deadlines and budgets set.
  • Communicating your clients’ needs to the Creative and Development team, through discussions with the client, Account Manager and any appropriate research, providing a written brief with resources, if required, into the studio.
  • Working closely with the team to brief jobs into the studio throughout each stage of a project, ensuring that a job is always managed and processed in the correct way, with the support of the Account Manager.
  • Daily management of your jobs in the studio alongside your team. Support in project management activity, ensuring that the planner is adhered to and deadlines met.
  • Ensure that Synergist is used at all times so every project has a correct job number, estimate, purchase order and invoice etc.
  • Responding proactively to all client and internal team requirements.
  • Provide quotes for clients on all work and manage invoicing.
  • To create a close working relationship with assigned clients, including attending client meetings when required.
  • Proactively pursue additional work from assigned clients.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as requested by the Account Manager.

Job context

As HR you will oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes. You will develop, advise on, and implement policies relating to the effective use of staff in our organisation.

Your aim is to ensure that we employ the right balance of staff in terms of skills and experience and that training and development opportunities are available to enhance performance and achieve the company’s business aims.

You must have a clear understanding of the business’ objectives and be able to devise and implement policies which select, develop and retain the right staff to meet these objectives.

You will not only deal with staff welfare and administration-centred activities but also strategy and planning for three sister companies with circa 70 staff (with a view to growth).

Job responsibilities

– Undertake all recruitment as directed by the Directors, including:

  • Develop HR planning strategies, which consider immediate and long-term staff requirements. Conduct recruitment planning meetings.
  • Liaise with hiring managers with respect to new vacancies as they arise.
  • Create job descriptions and person specifications, and prepare job adverts.
  • Prioritise vacancies and decide on the process for each vacancy.
  • Arrange for vacancies to go on to the Focus and Navigation Careers pages and ensure jobs are promoted via social media.
  • Direct contact with recruitment agencies, building and maintaining relationships to ensure staffing goals are achieved. Source new recruitment agencies when required.
  • Monitor and manage all direct applicants, including reviewing CVs, candidate screening, shortlisting, responding to applicants and arranging interviews.
  • Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers ensuring you are present at the first stage interview. Liaise with the hiring managers regarding the applicant. Assist in assessing suitability and make recommendations to the hiring managers.
  • Communicate employer information and benefits during the interview process.
  • Following up on the interview process status, reporting feedback to direct applicants and recruitment agencies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of employment with the candidate.
  • Coordinate start dates with hiring managers and the new starter.

  • Issue induction pack ensuring content is updated including company structure and office layout.
  • Collate training packs where necessary and diarise the return within a 12 week period.

  • Diarise the probation period six months from start date. Liaise with the hiring manager two weeks before this period is complete. Ensure that the probationary period review process is carried out by the line manager for each new employee and proceed appropriately.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for all new employee questions.

Job context

The role of the Lead Designer is to deliver high quality creative concepts and design solutions for each project. As an experienced and versatile design professional, it is integral to be able to deliver efficient and effective output that upholds best practice standards, meets (or exceeds) client expectations and does so within the desired deadline.

As a creative team member you will be required to contribute to the wider creative thinking of the business and integrate those ideas into developing better standards of work, improving client-facing designs or presentations and inspire those around you.

Required to work in collaboration with the wider studio team and furthermore with the other departments across the business to produce the best possible outcome for each project worked on. Alternatively, you may also be required to work in isolation on certain projects (depending on type), which will mean managing individual workflow responsibly and communicating with the management team.

Contribute towards the design proposal presentations we require for client meetings and pitches, so attention to detail and high standards in your work need to be coherent with the needs of the Creative.

Job context

To work with the New Business Sales Executive to develop leads and win new accounts. Also working alongside the Digital team to expand the work for current clients through innovative ideas, presentations etc. The New Business Digital Account Manager will also be a conduit between the new clients and Focus to ascertain the clients’ needs and ensure their projects are delivered within set timescales and to budget, working closely with the more junior members of the team to deliver the projects. To build strong relationships with the clients and proactively work with them to create as many business opportunities as possible.

Job responsibilities

  • Work with the New Business Sales Executive to deliver proposals to the leads generated and attend new business meetings with potential clients.
  • Work in conjunction with the other Client Services team members, liaise with assigned clients to create a project brief and understand their requirements.
  • To create a close working relationship with potential clients including attending client meetings and new business pitches.
