Job context

The role of the Lead Designer is to deliver high quality creative concepts and design solutions for each project. As an experienced and versatile design professional, it is integral to be able to deliver efficient and effective output that upholds best practice standards, meets (or exceeds) client expectations and does so within the desired deadline.

As a creative team member you will be required to contribute to the wider creative thinking of the business and integrate those ideas into developing better standards of work, improving client-facing designs or presentations and inspire those around you.

Required to work in collaboration with the wider studio team and furthermore with the other departments across the business to produce the best possible outcome for each project worked on. Alternatively, you may also be required to work in isolation on certain projects (depending on type), which will mean managing individual workflow responsibly and communicating with the management team.

Contribute towards the design proposal presentations we require for client meetings and pitches, so attention to detail and high standards in your work need to be coherent with the needs of the Creative

Job responsibilities

  • Creation of high quality concept designs for necessary projects.
  • To work alongside the studio team to understand the project requirements and deliver them in accordance with the written brief.
  • To liaise and communicate effectively with the Client Services team to ensure the desired outcome is reached and the creative output complies with the needs of any marketing and strategic requirements.
  • Supporting the Creative Director in bringing branding, design themes and relevant creative projects to life.
  • Responsible for managing and organising allocated projects efficiently and meeting their necessary deadlines.
  • To contribute to the delivery of client, new business or pitch presentations.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties required by the Creative Director.

Qualifications

A relevant degree or similar level/achievement.

Experience

A previous position held within a similar role.

Knowledge and Skills

Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Software – InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat. Experience in After Effects and Premier are a plus.

Ability to multi-task various goals and objectives.

Deadline driven.

Excellent planning and organisational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Personal Qualities

We are searching for someone who has a passion for good-writing and content. We would like to partner with a strong copy-writer who understands marketing, someone who can work closely with our creative team to develop and embellish many different campaigns. Job context

The role of Creative Artworker (Maternity Cover) is to form part of the highly-efficient and attentive Production team to produce accurate artwork for the client and ultimately for print. Responsible for achieving maximum profitability for the company based upon the speed and precision demonstrated through working practice and also supporting the Creative team in turning great ideas and concepts into finished products. Liaise with Client Services and Creative team to ensure the client’s demands are met and projects carried out correctly.

Job responsibilities

  • The delivery of accurate artwork that upholds the high standard required and in compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Regularly communicate with Client Services and the Creative team in order to ensure that work meets the standards and timeframes established by the Management team.
  • Achieve maximum profitability across every job worked on.
  • Demonstrate an eye for detail and precision when amending artwork.
  • Understand the commercial demand and urgency of the role within the company and adapt to the changing needs of the business.
  • Consistently strive for better and be receptive to the studio environment.
  • Any other adhoc duties as requested by the Head of Production or Creative Director.
